Portraits of A. Hitchcock and R W Fassbinder
Digital pen drawing of Alfred Hitchcock. One of the first images I made using a computer I had to draw this with a mouse before I got my wacom tablet. |
Digital drawing of the great German film maker Rainer Werner Fassbinder. I used a digital crayon and pen with a smudge tool to soften the edges of crayon strokes. |

Three images of the DogLady
The DogLady with the Jugman
This watercolor was painted around 1998 and I was trying to figure out what would work with the DogLady. The Jugman is a replica of an ancient Aztec water container and to me both work well together. I don't consider this a good painting to me its rather clumsy and the composition is off.

Still Life with the DogLady
This painting is about 15 years old and one of my first attempts at using the DogLady with other still life objects. In this painting I was attempting to see what would work together and as time went on the water jug and the DogLady were kept together. Also I was beginning a thinking process where the DogLady was involved in a story line with other objects.

Photograph of The DogLady
The DogLady is a figurine I have had for many years made and given to me by Vanessa Crymes. In posts to come there will be images of the DogLady, but this post will give you an idea where she the DogLady comes from and from the picture that she is real and her size. In drawings to come the DogLady will travel to Assos and will meet Ataturk and Sinan also she will visit the underground caves beneath Venice.

First blog
My first blog post ever and I don't know what I am doing. I like this image a sunny day in Assos Turkey up on high at the Temple of Athena looking south at the Greek island of Lesvos.
